Security queues
The T1 security area near Jet2 check in I have always found to be fairly quick and hassle free to pass through. This August I flew with Thomson so therefore T2. The security queue at around 5am was rediculous, we snaked an hour just to get to the front of the queue. Staff were calling people forward who's flights were about to depart. This only made the wait longer for everyone else. Therefore this kept been repeated. We checked in at least 2 hours before the flight and only just got to make a flying visit to WHS before boarding the plane.
The worst part of this experience was that what looked like half of the security lanes were sat there unused! I was looking forward to spending some time exploring T2 departures. It was a good job we were able to buy food on the flight.
