I went through T1 security at around 12:30 on Monday. It took me about 5 minutes in FastTrack. The queue for non FastTrack was almost back to the barriers. However, this is not normally an issue, as the queue moves pretty quickly.
One thing I've noticed recently is that they close the main security area, and direct people of to the left somewhere. It's this a new entrance, or is it the Jet2 entrance?
As an aside, the Escape lounge was refusing entry to everyone because it was full... Even people who had a booking! There was a blazing row going on at the door
I had to settle for a sandwich at Pret.
