My daughter flew in to LGW last week. What a chore it was getting her back to Manchester. I doubt she is alone, and doubt demand is not there. We'd have paid for a flight, had there been one, with pleasure. Perfect short sector for EZY.
Totally agree. I've travelled on the 0830'ish MAN-LGW and it was full. I reckon there was about 20 BA Caribbean connections (they had to disembark first due late arrival) but the rest were other connections and business. A morning/evening rotation would be great for south of London business meetings but the same can be said of MAN-LCY for City/East London meetings and that went the same way.....
Many flights to Belfast and up north for business/leisure but no one will risk extra flights to the London area.
