I wouldn't be surprised if there were employers of pilots in this country trying to circumvent local pilots. When a potential employee fronts you in an interview and knows the award backwards but doesn't know what a gyro is or how it works there are issues. When an employee breaks a component in an aircraft, causes $900 damage due to their negligence but the most important part of his day is getting out of work on time, there are issues. Industrial relations has swung so far to the employee it makes almost impossible to staff you business with any certainty.
