Devil

Keep in mind that there is nothing wrong with playing the "Devil's Advocate"

I am very happy to see Virgin Blue going great guns, as I believe would seem to be the case, however not all of us saw the AN collapse coming and those working at Virgin would do well to keep this in mind regardless of current performance.

"A house of cards" might be stretching a long bow (to quote Gaunty), however this is the era of insecurity and continual stress on Airline bottom lines. There is nothing more healthy than taking a good hard look at yourself well before everything goes to the wall.

I know too little to comment on QF other than to say that GD's comments regarding the long term cost cutting measures at QF is a treatise stated not only for the benefit of shareholders confidence, it also helps keep the screws on the competition potentially limiting any "big ideas" than might be espoused sooner rather than later.
