Bravo, @Jonzarno, an excellent initiative. Please take my critical side-thoughts on the positive side, as always:

-) to start with the obvious: what will be the content of the proposed trophy? My vote would be for something unique and worth remembering - a voucher for - say - 500 litres of the soon-to-be-forgotten Total UL91?

-) at least as exciting: who will be bestowing the honours? The president-of-ceremonies ought to have some relation to aviation, and some degree of noble blood. But I do not doubt the British crown can dispatch somebody suitable and exciting enough. OTOH it should be possible to locate the last descendant of some prince or duchess of Transdunabia or Inner Galicia who was involved in the first local aviation experiments, to add international glamour to the event.

-) naming: not bad, your idea, but in this here 21st century it ought to be a single word, so make that the GoldenPrune, GP for short.
