Also there is any number of international contractors such as Cerco who will provide such a service.
And that type of operation is unlikely to happen in the future. The US voters are clearly fed up with lives being lost while attempting to assist others and then being blamed when things don't go the way they hoped.
If we start contracting out all military ATC services what's next? Why not get in contractors to do all the military jobs? Start with transport pilots, then move onto fighter pilots??
There is a reason we have a military and spend so much money on it... So when the time comes we as a nation do not have to rely on anyone else!
