Indeed, I read spanners post as referring to the obese 7 x 5 daily Cathay's ex-LHR plus the soon to be 4 x weekly ex-LGW, =39 per week, compared to MAN's somewhat thrifty 4 x weekly. LGW was, I think, a slot grab ("get 'em while you can, they won't be around at this price much longer!") and took precedence over building MAN to daily. That's understandable, if a little disappointing for us up North. I guess it will come at some stage, but what one carrier does not take up at MAN, another will. That's the way it is going now at MAN-Hub. We don't have to say "Please Sir, I want some more", any more!
