For anyone who has made the trip to Dibden manor from the airport, is thefts route the train to the central station, the number 9 bus to the Applemore Tesco and then a taxi to Dibden manor?

Either the number 9 as you've suggested, or the number 8 to the 'Garden City' stop. From there it's about an 8 minute walk to CTC, though be careful as there's no pavement for part of the route - you can save yourself walking along the road as it goes round quite a right corner by heading through the churchyard. Both buses go from outside Frobisher House, less than a minutes walk from the main station entrance.
