If you want to look at the EASA syllabus, the Oxford books are out of date these days - I haven't heard of any plans to update them. The new Jeppesen stuff is just awful and not recommended.
The pad pilot books (covering single subjects) are reasonable, available from ibooks, and the last alternative is
EASA Professional Pilot Studies at $59 for the PDF, covering all subjects.
I would also recommend a subscription to aviation exam.
