“A series of photos posted by the US Navy this afternoon have depicted that the DT-III period of sea trials for the F-35C Lightning II are under way. Jets from VX-23 ‘Salty Dogs’ and VFA-101 ‘Grim Reapers’ have embarked the USS George Washington in the Atlantic for the third period of sea trials for the carrier variant (CV) of the F-35.
