Red face

Thanks a lot. Your info pretty much match what I recently has experienced. Have been badly struck by lightning twice and would appreciate a better radar. Also experienced that one should not mess up trying to take off when it's uncertain if the x-wind component is within limits. Found myself with rudder and ailron max deflected without the slightest possibility to keep the centerline. Only tool left was to rotate and get the bus in the air.
Another issue is severe icing. The factory definition: ice on the side windows=get out of here-,make me feel that we will have lots of divertions this winter. On the other hand we heard about a very experienced Eurowing crew that lost control due to ice and one do not want such an experience.
