Blepharospasm and Class One

Hi all

For the last few years I have undergone bouts of very minor blepharospasm (involuntary twitching of eyelid muscle) on my lower left eyelid and wondered if anyone would be able to give me any insight as to what it might mean to a class one medical. It doesn't affect my vision at all apart from being a little annoying. It is so minor it isn't worth mentioning to anyone so have kept quiet about it but like I said, it is really annoying as I can feel my eyelid twitching. Also there is a worry that it would potentially get worse. I cant find any literature on the impact it would have on flying, the only thing I can really find relates to DVLA Medical status which says it is fine as long as it doesn't affect vision.

Rather than having any specific questions, I just wondered if anyone had any info on this in regards to flying. It is treatable according to my research (using botox, how clever!) but I am sure that would involve a long process with the CAA so I am happy not to do anything if it stays the same.

Thanks,

Anon
