Can anyone provide a link? Perhaps I'm bieng stupid, but I cannot see any link on Routes Online, nor a press release from VS/DL.
I just don't believe it for a second. Why would VS/DL announce this now, post-Brexit?
- DL have announced capacity cuts to the UK this winter- it hardly seems they would be bursting to add more capacity next summer.
- VS already has new routes to BOS and SFO, with upgauged JFK. They need to fill this first.
- MAN-US flying is more dependent on UK POS, especially leisure, which will be harmed by the weak pound. It's a lot of new capacity.
Like I said earlier, I'll believe it when I see a press release from DL/VS with start dates and frequency! Before that it's just wishful thinking and I'd love to see more capacity from MAN to US
