As a footnote to my previous re Nuclear Power Warmers....
I must confess I assumed the EDF deal was more about rechecking the figures, although having read a few of the "Sundays" it would appear its now more about trust /security re the Chinese !!!
This could have major repercussions up here as we do appear "sadly" and it has to be said "incredibly", relying more on Beijing and the Yen than investment from our own brethren down in Westminster!
We pee the Chinese off at our peril.....
Jose Morinho almost managed this feat, single handedly last week but it looks as though the new Headmistress will not be usurped and is determined to outdo the Special One.
Given the way the winds blowing we could do with our own special one ( George), getting back on parade sharpish !
With so much riding on Airport City and Chinese routes in general we do need to keep them onside.
...one small plea could they please pop a couple of shovels on the Hainan and start digging Northside!
