Beech Baron Be58 manual extension - how?

I am researching the above and all I can find is:

Handcrank handle cover (at rear of front sets) ....................... Remove

Handcrank ............................................................ .....Engage and Turn
Counterclockwise as far as possible
(approximately 50 turns)

What I would like to know is the crank in a fixed position and just the cover needs removing? Exactly where is this crank - on the sidewall, on the floor, or where?
