Just for the record - the funky pattern does NOT take you into Munich CTR. At the recommended height and the defined turns at the NorthEast "corner" you stay outside.
I think you are wrong, the official traffic circuit potato on the AIP drawing now routes you around Unterschleissheim and directly through Munich CTR. It even states explicitly: "ATC clearance for the CTR sector is considered granted if the VMC minima of Munich Airport permits this."
