I agree with Rat5. You're going to be levelling off
at the MDA to do your circling; no point in adding 50ft as you'll just be 50ft higher than you could be. Is the 50ft a hangover from the Derived Decision Altitude/Constant Descent Final Approach procedure?
Out of interest, what is the AB Circling procedure?
