Am I alone in thinking Thomson's fleet management is terrible. Thomson want to expand yet they're not exploiting their 787s to bring expansion. Thomson did have a dozen 763s from the year 2000 which were sold or transferred to other TUI airlines - we now see Thomson complain about a lack of long haul aircraft. You now see 787s flying short haul, some 787s flying long haul, 767s covering long haul if a 787 goes tech, and the 767s doing short haul.

Surely keeping more 767s to fly short haul in the summer (no need for short haul 787s) and using all 787s to fly long-haul would have been a better move? That way there would be more 787s free to do long haul expansion and increase frequency on popular long haul routes (e.g. LGW - SFB where there is a lot of demand).
