Quite a bold statement on a open forum which could cost the Airline a lot of money. Is this information based on fact?
Even if the a/c was tech, if the security checks were still going on at the same time it couldn't have departed anyway.
Sounds like more security checks were needed for whatever reason and the security company didn't have the correct trained staff.

Nothing to do with the company (Airline). These are USA Government checks. Airlines do what they are told to do.
