Given the criteria in the original letter from past Master Chris Ward and the press release from the current Master Peter Benn Lachlan qualifies on both counts by the time he reaches Biggin Hill later this week.
The big problem they face is one pilot is a genuine solo long distance adventurer flying what is likely to become a world record.
The other is a highly sponsored well publicised woman claiming to be a solo 'Aviatrix' who has been making a couple of fictional reality tv programmes. To make matters worse she is trying to claim a circumnavigation. Some would suggest TCT's social connections and
PR machine have played a major part in her current status.
