Wow some people are really never happy.
Look at it this way.
The SQ327/328 was always slated to go A350. Yes, it's a newer plane but lower capacity. We have retained the B77W which means greater capacity.
The flight is expected to go daily in Summer S17, SQ applied for 2 daily but don't have the equipment to do so this winter.
We now have a direct flight back to Singapore, which saves time and effort from the Munich shuffle.
We now have a new route to the USA on top of all this. Yes, MAN survives as a tag on, but now, MAN-SIN-MAN Max have a direct flight, so technically the tag for the primary source of traffic has gone.
I'm sorry, I can only see positives in this. Look at it this way, we could have gone over to Scoot, who are starting EU routes this winter too. Then people would have had cause to moan!
