Hi, Mn64!
My AD was same day as yours, just in the morning. I've stayed in touch with two girls since then and they both messaged me yesterday to say both of their references were checked this Monday.
I've asked them about the email you guys are mentioning here on this forum and they both told me they haven't received anything other than the one a day after our AD saying they've been successful.
I also haven't received anything other than that one. My references haven't been checked yet, but I was told all overseas ones are left for last anyways.
