Spinex. The answer is YES. And I speak from direct experience.
And Big Brother does spend up big to defend the indefensible.

The ICC recommended.. ."that in the public interest, they be dealt with by the AFP"
CAsA's reaction to that.. not a satisfactory investigation (of the criminal behaviour of the CAsA AWIs by the ICC)...therefore at a cost of $200 grand + bring in an independent investigator/contractor...BUT change his brief to suit the CAsA way, from allegations of criminality to just breaches of the code of conduct..that has NO provisions in it regarding criminality.

Such an investigation would .."make it fairer for the staff"... Never mind the fn victim of the seriously FALSE allegations SWORN by the 3 CAsA persons to be used in a court of law to obtain a criminal conviction.

Contractors findings... They all breached the code. And they should be dealt with by the AFP.

Result. One fled..earlier criminality. The main perpetrator retired hurt 4 years later "CaSA is too stressful" Poor dear. And the 3rd plonker got promoted !!

And from The Voodoo practitioner in CAsA...the falsities were but simple discrepancies in the wording. !!!

Like I say, Regulatastan is a dangerous country to live...but only for some.
