Currently in the system for 01OCT16-31NOV16, EK217/8 downgauges to B77W.
Along with the recent 01JUL16 downgaue to B77W on EK211/2, and the previous EK221/2 downgauge (back to A380 on 01SEP16). It seems that they are finally practicing some reasonable capacity control..throwing A380's at every dot on the map was never going to be viable.
With the upcoming one-time A380 to ORD (to test the new gate), I suspect EK235/6 will soon be upgauging. Rumor has it, this flight does very well for EK.
