The revenue turnover was less last year than the previous year, but because of the lower costs (namely fuel) they made more money!

...and despite a stronger dollar, overall economic slow-down and tempo. cancelled routes (due to conflict etc), EK still made money. On most routes the 380 flies full...NA, OZ/NZ, China. Its not just the aeroplane, but the airline that gets butts in the seats.
