IMHO B777 and B737 are last solid planes. The way they are designing and manufacturing planes (including all parts) quality is past history. All they are trying to do is sell based on how good the build quality used to be.
If AAB is not happy about 3-5 minute spool up time and pending ILS certifications, it is not going to any better with B737MAX.
Only way to mitigate the risk is to pay by the hour for both frame and engine and let manufacturers deal with issues.
