Haranguing by the vigilante mob for the sake of it, is unnecessary and distasteful.
For myself, I see it not as haranguing, but rather actively not surrendering the sense of honour felt by those who dislike TCT's continued misleading self promotion. If TCT can press ahead with her continuation of self promotion, It sounds fair to me that some people continue to express dislike for that.
If TCT went public with some truths, and withdrawing from accolades, she might get some tolerance - she has not committed a crime, just a dishonour. But in my opinion, it would be wrong for her to wait it out with her heels dug in, then continue as though nothing had been wrong when dissenters quieted in time.
