In relation to your age, although there is no restriction, if you are over 35 then your chances of success are diminished and if 40 the success rate is less than 5%! As you said in your post not wanting to be melancholy, just factual.
Hi I'm currently going through the recruitment process at the moment. I'm 34. Is the above quote true? Do Airservices have a preference for age range? Frankly if I was accepted onto a course at 34 I would say I have as good a chance of getting through as someone who is 24... Probably more chance on balance.

Does anyone know if people in their 30s regularly get accepted onto these courses or is it unusual. Not put off by the ageism Just would like to know from anyone who has completed the course in the last few years.
