With VS adding around 41,230 seats to BOS & SFO next year, as well as racking JFK up around 6,150, it's highly doubtful that we'll see DTW next year. That's just too much capacity, far too soon. I expect we'll see DTW on our departure boards in 2018.
I think the idea was that it would be a seasonal DL route when VS take over JFK from DL.
