My Mrs is pregnant with twins. The medical benifits is pretty vague for multiple births. The doc we are seeing seems to think the 25/35k limit on the maternity portion increases with multiple births. Just 'Asked an expert' still awaiting an answer.
However, I was wondering if you have any recommendations on a short term medical policy for my wife & twins if any complications arise, eg) premature and requiring NICU. Apparently 30000AED/day for twins
Again the doc seems to think EK insurance will cover it, but i've heard stories through the grapevine where this is not the case.
Aetna is out as im not a member with APC. So is Baymac, called and thats a no go too.
*oh can anyone confirm EK medical won't cover the first 2 weeks of a newborns life?*
