gerry111's tip is a valuable one, magicalflights.
A couple of flights ago I pulled in at YBHI, only to find that my Carnet card for the only brand of AVGAS available would not be accepted by the bowser as it was beyond its expiry date. The bowser did not accept credit cards.
The local representative of the brand of AVGAS sold at YBHI, who was there anyway because of RFDS activities, helped out by allowing me to pay for a fill with a credit card transaction that he processed.
The sting? 20 cents per litre 'surcharge'.
I was told it was 'company policy'. I interpreted that to mean 'financially raping captives of a monopoly', as is so common across aviation infrastructure in Australia.
I should stress that I don't blame the local representative. He was merely implementing 'company policy'. And I don't know how many places have monopoly brand presence without credit card payment facilities through the bowser.
