I am BNE based - and my start date is October 17.
I emailed them about 1.5 weeks after the assessment day with my first aid certificate and they replied saying they would be in touch with me once they have completed the reference check stage.
I then called a week later and I got the same response.
I asked Altara about it today and they just said it's taken so long because they needed to organise a training schedule and everything else.
Keep positive - I have waited 3 years for this!

Thanks flyhigh1986, well deserved after such a long time .. You must be thrilled ...
It seems us Thursday 26th cabditars are all still waiting ... I'm following another forum too and it seems to be all Wednesday candidates getting their golden call, its our turn soon so will hang in there, the wait will be worth it.
Very exciting Baybii-t it's just around the corner for you good luck and please keep us posted, I think this is a great space for us and for others coming in as we all experience the agonising wait and we can offer such a supportive environment.
