What ever gave you the impression that the B737-200 was tested with worn brakes in the first place?
With most B737-200's in a perfectly executed aborted takeoff when field length limited, you are going off the end of the field due to worn brakes........
Bear it in mind so that you can explain it to your chief Pilot......
