Under a planned deal, it's believed that CityJet would be the major partner in a merged group, with existing Stobart shareholders taking a minority holding.
If this happens and with CityJet being the major partner there could be an opportunity for Southend or it could loose what it has.
This move seems to be more about creating a second hub than benefiting Southend.
