This rumour has been on this board since EK started in Glasgow, Edinburgh isn't the be all and end all airport in Scotland, Glasgow is growing, although 2yrs behind Edinburgh and EK are happy with Glasgow. Yes the 3 ME airlines are ripping the heart out of each other but would EDI management want to upset QR , EY & TK. TK I know have been loyal to Edinburgh even though they have realised Glasgow was the better option for them (senior sources from TK) they have struggled to get the larger Turkish community in Glasgow to use Edinburgh. I don't see a third EK flight in Scotland soon as there's plenty of spare seats at very low prices across QR, EY, TK & EK eastbound.
