Well as I have been doing this professionally for almost three decades now you might say that I am quite happy with the road I chose. I get to play with some fun toys, go to some nice locales (yes and some not so nice ones too!) work with good people and my employer insists on paying me. So......I think I'll keep what I've got thank you.
