I think I'm correct in guessing that the desire for retro paint schemes comes from the
PR department. The kids in
PR of BA have shown that nothing exisited before BA. This may well come down the line from the Board but I cannot see them honouring any of the numerous airlines they have swallowed up in anything other than a brochure headed 'Our Noble Heritage' with a one page of logos 'tribute'. It is the way that modern biz works.
