I did a RN flying scholarship at the Surrey and Kent in 1964 and had a ride in the Prentice with an old, to an 18 year old, chap.
If memory serves we did a couple of circuits.
IIRC it had pneumatic brakes.
I am still surprised how small the prop seemed to be for such a large aircraft.
