The one and only reason Stobart is even contemplating CAX-SEN is the government money the route will attract and that it benefits three of Stobart's enterprises.
It's a complete waste of taxpayers money when the Virgin train service takes passengers to and from the heart of London every hour and not to a location nearly an hour away. Add to that minimum check-in times and a "slow" prop aircraft being used on the route and there is a good argument that the tax payers handout could be better spent as the time savings are not that great.
