ifitaint, I agree. But at the meeting it was clear that the only way to achieve unanimous agreement from the others regarding easing the 10 hr restriction was to propose that early flights with passengers are to be supervised by an instructor. They couldn't put up any argument to that.
So, unfortunately, it was that or nothing.
Unfortunately the EAS delegate didn't turn up...again, so couldn't provide any comment at the meeting, although all delegates had received copies of the proposal in advance.
