In my experience they are a rarity, but I am aware of one specific case where this did happen and the individual concerned was "warned off".

Anyone that does something like that should be ashamed of themselves, regardless of their age and anything else they may have done. The genuine veterans are truly remarkable people in whose company it is a privilege to be allowed to share an aircraft and a few hours.
