Just two points to offer to you incredibly generous private pilots who operate this very wonderful service to the rapidly shrinking number of us genuine veterans (I'm ruled out by extreme frailty, so count me out).
1. There are, I'm sorry to say, "Walter Mittys" among us greybeards. Watch out !
2. If they are "Silver Surfers", point them in the direction of PPRuNe (if they do not know about it already). "Gaining a RAF Pilot's Brevet in WWII" (on "Military Aviation" Forum) will give them a warm welcome (Advt !)
