Not that surprising. They've been flying more fresh air between the two points than passengers and it's an oddity in their (ever decreasing) network requiring outstabling and empty positioning flights. Given that the Belgian courts have now given them 6 months breathing space from total bankruptcy as long as they can pull together a coherent and profitable operating model, I wonder how long ANR-SOU will last? That seems also to be limping along and might need putting out of its misery. VLM have always done best on ACMI/charter. Be interesting to see how their new intra German routes do - could be that their future is only in continental Europe rather than a hotch potch of low density, specialist UK/Irish/Benelux routes.
