A strategy of providing lots more frequency with smaller wide bodies like A350s, when your home base slots and parking bays are already gridlocked for much of the day, also seems slightly flawed.
Perhaps so, but which airline do you think has many of those slots already locked in for the foreseeable future? Might it be possible that part of the game plan is to utilise as many slots as possible and crowd out some of the competition?
