I am reliably informed that airfield works are planned very soon to restore the ILS on runway 33 back to Cat III status as soon as possible.
Flight calibration of the ILS is expected to take place July/August, so providing the work is a success the ILS should be back up to Cat III status by September, as I believe the ILS has to radiate for 200 hours before its serviceable for aircraft.
Lets just hope that the airfield works do finally sort this issue out.
