OVER V
The ICOM circuit monitors the voltage from the small power supply jack on the side. If this goes over 11 volts it sets up the message OVER V. This message will then always crop up briefly during turn-on unless it is reset by ICOM Service Dept. Usually the transceiver carries on working fine even though OVER V has been triggered. The recommended external supply should be between 9 and 11 volts.
