There you see the problem. The 330s are operated by SunExpress Deutschland and the salary is their salary scale, but the assessment is done by LH, but only for the 330s, the 737 pilots still do the normal SXD assessment which is completely different.
So they want cheap pilots with very high standards which doesn't really work and in addition the LH pilots don't want them at all.
If you see that some of their flights have 2-3 days of delay, you can see that cheap isn't always the cheapest solution.
And at the moment they have Cpts on the A330 who have been flying around Germany on a Fokker 70 2 years ago, now crossing the atlantic in an A330 for less than 5k with a low hour FO. To compensate this, they hired TRI/TRE from AB, paying them 20K per month.

Make your own picture if that is a serous operation.


BTW it is not the first time that LH pilots make politics on Sim checks and it will not be the last time.
