...before you all make a rash decision and leave because you are not happy with the sum of FRI/bounty involved and offered to you, think of the 'loyal' subjects. Those who pinned their colours to the mast with an early PAS acceptance, those who chose a career stream path; they have been offered nothing! Zero, nada, not a thing!
They would also happily accept your meagre £20K (before tax) for staying in anyway!
But don't fret because they know nothing of this potentially divisive offer because you were told not to tell them! Sssshhhhhh...it'll be our dirty little secret! ;-) I hope none of them have options coming up.
Really...are people that naïve that they think friends and colleagues in the military don't speak to each other about such relevant and topical subjects; that there are not closed FB and What's App groups named after the very subject (FRI or retention or similar)!?
In the very near future there is not even going to be a decision to be made...it will have been made for you. Stay, of course and don't be disloyal! Now stop whining and get back to work!
