For that industry you want a good finance background, which is what you're getting. There is an engineering/maintenance component associated with this field, but no need in starting over to go into engineering, unless you really want to get your A&P on the side(wouldn't hurt). These days a lot of it is out of Ireland, so check out-
ie.indeed.com and look up aircraft leasing. Check out vast array of different positions and requirements to better understand what they do. Then, if I were you, I'd reach out to some of them for advice on breaking in. Worst case is that you get better knowledge on how to get in, and best case they offer you an internship or job when you're done with school. Good Luck!
